New Sewing Pattern -- Shark Monster Plush Toy!

This is one of my favorite patterns that I’ve made. I’ve seen kids and adults delight at the back fin, the joy of making it swim along before jumping up full of teeth.

So far, all of my patterns are all printable on letter-size paper, but I’m working on A4 sizes too, so they can be easily printed outside of the US too. Are there any patterns that you are particularly interested in having first in A4?

Process and Processing the Process

One of the things I’ve been struggling with lately is getting started. We have all been told throughout our lives, just don’t procrastinate. Start early and get it done! And amazingly that doesn’t really work unless you were going to do it anyway. The usual ideas about procrastination and laziness just feed the inner critic that makes it even harder to get started.

Craft Night: April 17th

In case you don’t know, I run a free craft night the 3rd Wednesday of every month in SE Portland. We’d love to have you join us!

You’ve probably seen the rope rainbows all over the internet lately (my pinterest feed is full of them). So we’re going to try our hand at making tiny versions of them. Or really any shape you can think of. I’ve already experimented with this monster shape. I can’t wait to see what other people create!
